National Judiciary Council
Legislation drafted by President Andrzej Duda to overhaul selection of members of the National Judiciary Council (KRS) may be constitutionally flawed, the leader of the governing party PiS, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, said in an interview for the daily Gazeta Polska.
Duda's compromise solution to have group voting for members should Parliament fail to achieve a qualified majority is likely unconstitutional, Kaczynski claims.
