Financial giants come to Poland

British bank Standard Chartered and American fund group Fidelity may follow JP Morgan's recent move to set up shop in Poland. Representatives of Standard Chartered are making their second visit to Poland and are looking to hire from 500 to 1000 people in a new service center in Warsaw or Krakow.
Poland's Investment and Trade Agency PAIiH is currently piloting 12 projects connected with the plans of financial giants to set up their service centers in Poland, which might add 4.700 jobs to the local market, PAIiH deputy chief Krzysztof Senger says.
Morgan Stanley, BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclay's, BBV and Societe Generale might be in play, the CEO of the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL) Jacek Levernes predicts.
