The Polish government is on a fast track to approving the so-called VAT split payment bill as the ruling party PiS and the opposition MPs gave it a unanimous nod, sending it to the parliamentary public finance committee, the daily Puls Biznesu writes.
The parliamentary debate over the bill did not, however, go without voices of criticism levied at the project by some opposition deputies. The split payment will have a negative impact on the financial liquidity of companies, with a significant share of their money frozen on the special VAT accounts, the Kukiz 15 deputies argued, backed by their PO and Nowoczesna colleagues.
