Poland's governing party Law and Justice (PiS) offered its amendments to the President's proposal for judicial reform, but largely stuck to the President's demand that election to the National Judiciary Council (KRS) involve the opposition, according to deputy speaker of Senate Adam Bielan.
PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski reportedly co-authored the party's proposals. Parliament could begin work on the bills very soon, the daily Rzeczpospolita writes citing its own sources.
