Re-privatization bill soon
October 16, 2017

Patryk Jaki
Poland's ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski gave a green light for the re-privatization bill authored by the deputy justice minister Patryk Jaki to be proceeded quickly, sources in the PiS parliamentary club tell the daily Rzeczpospolita.
PiS intends to start paying compensation to former owners of properties seized by the state as of 2019 and counts on support from the opposition, which it stands a good chance of securing as Polish Peoples Party (PSL) and Civic Platform (PO) admit that the re-privatization bill should be passed without unnecessary delay.
