Polish firms increasingly often face financial problems due to labor shortages and rising wages, newspapers Rzeczpospolita and Parkiet write of banks' observations.
This concerns especially the construction industry, with the share of builders seeing qualified staff shortages as barrier to business rising to 45% from 29% a year earlier.
The problem may become even more acute as inflow of Ukrainian workers has come to a halt and their salary expectations have increased, according to Bank Millennium chief economist Grzegorz Maliszewski.
