Poland's tight labor market is unlikely to get a support from Poles returning from emigration, the daily Gazeta Wyborcza writes of the results of the survey conducted by researcher Kantar for HR agency Work Service among emigrants' families.
36.4% of respondents believe their relatives abroad might be willing to return home., but as many as 56.5% see the improving situation on the domestic employee market as no reason for a return.
By the end of 2016, the number of Poles staying abroad for longer periods reached 2.5 million, up by 118,000 from a year earlier, the daily reminds.
