The latest medical centre in Wroclaw will significantly increase access to healthcare services for residents of the entire region.
Patients now will have access to over a dozen different clinics including four departments: cardiology rehabilitation, neurology rehabilitation, general rehabilitation and orthopaedics with a surgical department.
The scope of surgical services and procedures will be gradually increased, as will the amount of specialist diagnostic equipment. Soon the hospital will receive the EOS – a device which makes 3D imaging possible at each stage of spine and lower limb disorders.
"The new facilities make it possible to hire new doctors, physiotherapists and nurses, to significantly expand our offer and to increase the capacity in terms of the number of patients served", said Tomasz Zakrzewski, Medical Director at Vratislavia Medica.
The Vratislavia Medica hospital has 4 stories with the total usable area of over 11,000 m², two operating rooms, over 150 hospital beds, rehabilitation equipment for conducting comprehensive physiotherapy, a cryo-therapy chamber, as well as a swimming pool with a counterflow lane for gait learning. It features a heliport, a pharmacy with a drive-through window, a medical shop, a bistro, a chapel and a carpark.
