Full Sunday trade ban?

The Polish government may still go for a full Sunday trade ban instead of a partial one foreseen by a draft bill which is currently being processed by the lower house due to pressure from trade unions, dailies Parkiet and Rzeczpospolita write of unofficial information.
In turn, Sunday limitations on e-commerce could be relaxed. Keeping restrictions on online trade could result in the need to file notification to the European Commission and potentially delay the regulation implementation by 6-18 months.
Social support for the bill has been falling with 36% of Poles currently in favor of banning retail trade on all Sundays and 48% for a ban on two Sundays a month. The bill is supposed to become effective as of January 1, 2018.
