Poland's planned changes to electoral law, authored by the ruling party Law and Justice (PiS), were brought to the agenda of a parliamentary extraordinary committee on Tuesday, November 28, the committee's official schedule shows.
A limit for mayors for two terms in the office, liquidation of single-member constituencies in the process of electing municipality councils, and changes in the national electoral commission PKW are among the new rules, planned ahead of 2018 local elections.
