Coal miners JSW, Bogdanka and PG Silesia want to carry out investments using more own human resources and thus reduce the involvement of external firms in such projects.
JSW is consequently mulling takeover of mining shaft builder PBSZ while Bogdanka and PG Silesia intend to take on more staff, but this trend will hardly last, according to brokerage DM BDM analyst Maciej Bobrowski. Mining machinery maker Famur still expects contracts to come its way due to the broad scope of necessary investments in the mining sector, CEO Miroslaw Bendzera comments.
