The Polish government will maintain wind power reference auction prices in 2018 at PLN 350/MWh for large-scale onshore installations while reducing them by PLN 10 to PLN 310/MWh for wind turbines and by PLN 20 to PLN 450/MWh for offshore farms, ordinances published by the energy ministry show.
Prices for solar power large- and small-scale installations were cut by a respective PLN 25 to PLN 400/MWh and PLN 30 to PLN 420/MWh. The gradual price reductions confirm Poland's reluctance to develop the wind power segment, renewable energy market expert Michal Cwil says.
