Andrzej Adamczyk
Poland's long-delayed cabinet reshuffle has become a millstone around ministries' necks, obstructing their daily functioning, the ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) insider tells the daily Rzeczpospolita.
The party grassroots are also in the dark as to the top brass's political plans for the near future, another PiS politician adds. PiS's head Jaroslaw Kaczynski and his top partners have been discussing possible scenarios for the past few days, with the incumbent PM Beata Szydlo participating in the talks, sources tell the daily.
The scale of the expected reshuffle will be rather considerable, most of the daily's interlocutors say, while reiterating that final decisions are yet to be made. The infrastructure minister Andrzej Adamczyk is to retain his post after all in spite of previous speculations, but his range of responsibilities will be limited to construction and housing, according to the latest reports from the ruling camp.
