Polish construction firms are complaining that investor's budgets for just launched projects do not take into account recent price and market changes, Rzeczpospolita writes, citing recent tenders.
A recent road tender in the Pomorskie region saw the lowest bid at PLN 83.5 million for an investment with a PLN 49 million budget.
Builders are awash with contracts, workers are hard to find, so many firms file high bids just in case a high offer is accepted by the investor, one of road authority GDDKiA officials suggests.
