Listed engineering group Rafako hopes to start selling its polygeneration island installations utilizing waste products for power and heat generation to municipalities on a larger scale, following local governments' rising interest in pro-ecological solutions, CEO Agnieszka Wasilewska-Semail says as cited by the daily Puls Biznesu.
The company will also have a go at the production of small electric city and school buses, with the prototypes to be tested by some local communities in Poland, deputy CEO Jaroslaw Dusilo adds.
Rafako is yet to decide whether it will launch a full-scale production of such vehicles following the tests and homologation process.
