Listed power group Energa is reportedly thinking of changing the job contracts of its high-level employees into the so-called managerial contracts, i.e. civil law agreements, in an attempt to alleviate the consequences of the planned liquidation of the social insurance premium cap, according to Energa's resolution on the matter revealed by the deputy Senate speaker from the opposition party Civic Platform (PO) Bogdan Borusewicz.
Energa will pay premiums on the managerial contracts to the social insurer ZUS, just as it would do in the case of standard employment contracts and the move is aimed solely at standardizing the employment procedures for the high-level personnel, spokesperson Adam Kasprzyk retorts as cited by the daily Parkiet.
At the same time, Energa will make some savings as management salaries will be reduced, he said. According to Parkiet findings, in some cases salaries could be even halved.
