Polish central bank's chair Adam Glapinski's latest comments about the absence of any wage pressure are not reflected in the facts, BZ WBK economist Piotr Bielski and Bank Pocztowy's chief economist Monika Kurtek say as cited by the daily Gazeta Wyborcza.
Polish labor market is imbalanced, and the accelerating labor costs will fuel inflation, with the expected CPI rate at 2% in 2018 after the exclusion of food and energy, which is why the MPC should react faster, PKO BP's chief economist Piotr Bujak adds.
Glapinski's optimism as to the country's investment outlook is not shared by Credit Agricole's chief economist Jakub Borowski.
