French electric utility group EDF eyes over PLN 2.5 billion in revenues from its activity on the Polish market, CEO of an EDF's arm DK Energy Thierry Deschaux says as quoted by the daily Parkiet.
The company hopes to achieve the goal via potentially tens of millions PLN worth of private-public partnership contracts for power services for a number of Polish cities that it is currently trying to secure, according to Deschaux.
The group has no specific development plans concerning its wind farms in Poland, the EDF director for Europe Patrick Pruvot says, while suggesting that investments might come in the future once the conditions for the renewable energy business in Poland improve.
