Poland will see average annual inflation drop to 1.7% in 2018 from 2% in 2017, with interest rates thus expected to stay flat until July 2019, daily Rzeczpospolita writes citing a report by Credit Agricole.
Average salary growth in the national economy will accelerate to 6.4-6.5% in 2018-2019 from 5% in 2017, but food prices growth will start slowing down in Q1 2018 and may even turn negative at some point next year, the bank's analysts explain.
