The Polish government is going to keep single-mandate constituencies in communities with up to 20,000 citizens, as well as extend the office terms of local governments and municipal officials to 5 years and reduce the number of terms in the office for city mayors to two, as the country's Lower House voted in favor of the solutions included in the amended act on elections.
