20 billion for the army

Poland spent nearly PLN 20 billion on army modernization in the last two years of which PLN 13 billion went to Polish companies, defense minister Antoni Macierewicz told a conference in Krakow.
Poland should pick a partner for its submarine program "in the nearest future" while talks with US arms manufacturer Lockheed Martin regarding missile artillery system Homar have recently become "very difficult" and may be discontinued, Macierewicz also suggested.
