Poland's lower house of Parliament accepted the Senate's amendments to the so-called Sunday retail ban bill, according to the account of the Sejm's proceedings.
The amendments specified exemptions to the ban, such as flower stores, confectioneries or bakeries.
Sunday retail trade will be gradually limited as of March 1, with two trading Sundays per month in 2018 and one in 2019. Retail trade will be banned on all Sundays as of 2020.
