Lukasz Szumowski
The Polish government wants to continue healthcare reform in the next parliamentary term and will discuss it first with both medical personnel and patients to secure their support, health minister Lukasz Szumowski tells daily Rzeczpospolita.
The government may revise the prices of services in the healthcare basket but will not introduce paid doctor visits or raise public healthcare contributions, he asserts. Szumowski also claims to have a plan for ending the dispute with resident physicians.
