Daniel Obajtek
Blue-chip power group Energa will invest in its energy mix and would like renewable sources, coal-fueled ones and energy purchases to account for one-third of the total each, CEO Daniel Obajtek told the daily Rzeczpospolita without providing a time horizon.
Energa could add power of yet "another type" to the mix, he hinted without giving further details. The company will invest PLN 1.2-1.3 billion a year in the coming years in its distribution segment as part of its strategy to 2025.
Energa will continue the reduction of the number of its subsidiaries and plans to achieve a decline to about 20 by end-2018, Obajtek also said. The aim is to streamline certain processes such as logistics or decision-making.
