Piotr Twardokes
Polish leading insurer Open Life will focus on development in the multi-agency area and expand its offer of collective employee insurance schemes in 2018, deputy CEO Piotr Twardokes tells the daily Rzeczpospolita.
The company also eyes stepping up sales of life insurance and maintaining sales of investment products on 2017 levels, he adds. Open Life targets primarily companies employing from 50 to 300 people, Twardokes says, while renouncing fierce competition with the insurance market giants.
The firm discerns potential in so-called open groups enabling people employed in small or one person companies to buy collective insurance schemes, according to deputy CEO. Open Finance still sees banks as its most important sales channel, but wants to sell more products via multi-agents, Twardokes adds.
