Marek Magierowski
Poland and Israel must return to "normal dialogue" after the recent spike of tension in mutual relations caused by adoption of a new law penalizing allegations of Poland's co-responsibility for the Holocaust, deputy foreign minister Marek Magierowski said during his appearance on news channel TVN24. Poland needs the new law to better protect its reputation on the international arena, he argued.
The Polish government may name Magierowski its new ambassador to Israel, according to online portal 300polityka.pl. Foreign minister Jacek Czaputowicz refused to either confirm or deny the news.
