Teresa Czerwinska
The Polish government will continue efforts to tighten the tax system and will intensify works on a new tax ordinance, Finance Minister Teresa Czerwinska told Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily of 2018 plans.
The government wants to make the tax system transparent, simple and friendly, Czerwinska declared. The minister is fully confident about the stability of 2018 budget but it is hard to say whether achieving such a low deficit as PLN 25 billion reached in 2017 will be possible this year, she said. Also, the ministry wants to accelerate works on next year's budget and hopes to present 2019 budget assumptions to the PM and the cabinet already in late April, Czerwinska added.
