Polish economy will add 86.700 new jobs as a result of 2017-announced FDIs, the most in Europe, the daily Puls Biznesu writes citing the data from consultancy fDi Markets' recent report. The result is the best in at least a decade, CEO of Polish Investment and Trade Agency PAIH Tomasz Pisula comments.
The number of FDI deals in Poland grew to 335 from 272 within a year, while the total volume of projects increased by 52% year on year, to EUR 12.9 billion, fDi Markets' report specifies. Polish construction sector will see the most, i.e. 95 new projects implemented in FDI, followed by ICT sector with 73 projects and automotive industry with 49 projects, but the largest expected added value to the Polish economy of EUR 2.1 billion.
