Sulfur limits lenient

The Polish government will likely introduce lenient limits on sulfur content in emissions from burning coal and present a path for tightening those norms in the years to come, the dailies Parkiet and Rzeczpospolita claim in the context of the planned bill on solid fuels quality.
Such a scenario would give Polish coal producers time to adjust their coal processing facilities so that the output meets the planned requirements for fuels sold to households or to find alternative buyers.
However, some experts criticize the proposed sulfur limits as way too relaxed.
