Witold Slowik
Poland sees a definitely smaller risk of failing to contract its EU-allocated funds for railway investments under the new Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020 compared with the previous framework, deputy investments and development minister Witold Slowik tells the daily Rzeczpospolita.
Poland has already managed to distribute ca. 50% of means meant for its railway system, the official adds. Implementation of investment projects in the upcoming years might prove more costly on account of rising prices of construction materials or problems with supplies, the minister admits.
