Polish companies will hire more and more Belarussians as the inflow of Ukrainian workers is not enough given labor shortages on the Polish market, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily writes citing recruitment agencies. Belarussians are now more inclined to come to Poland as getting a job in Russia, where they used to go to work most often, has become more difficult.
Polish employers are also hiring workers from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and Philippines. Local authorities, which issue permits for workers from these countries, issued 108,000 such permits in H1 2017, twice as many as in H1'16.
