Polish IT firms will likely get fewer contracts from state farming agency ARiMR as the agency wants to reduce the role of external suppliers in maintenance of key IT systems, Puls Biznesu daily writes citing ARMiR deputy CEO Marek Deutsch.
The share of external firms in maintenance of IT systems is too big and internal analysis show that taking over a part of these tasks will be "very attractive cost-wise" even despite the necessary increase of IT staff in the agency, Deutsch told the daily.
Currently the most important IT systems of ARMiR are maintained by listed firms Comarch and Sygnity as well as by DXC Technology, the daily reminds.
