The Polish government will offer young doctors a PLN 600-700 monthly bonus for staying in the country for at least two years after completing their specialization and those moving abroad earlier would have to return this money, health minister Lukasz Szumowski tells Dziennik Gazeta Prawna of the planned healthcare reform.
Doctors will be free to combine work for public and private clinics, he adds. The reform also seeks to introduce an obligatory 48-hour working week for doctors within 10 years, according to Szumowski.
