Poland recorded PLN 20.7 billion inflow of foreign direct investments in 2017, the lowest result since Poland joined the EU except for 2013 when the figure was lower due to stats-related issues, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily writes of the latest data released by the NBP.
The 2017 decline is mainly due to repolonization efforts, including the purchase of Pekao from UniCredit or the purchase of EDF assets by PGE.
