February 20, 2018
Article's tools:

Poland and Germany may be the driving force of growth and positive changes in the EU, PM Mateusz Morawiecki told a press conference following his Friday meeting with German chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin which improved the atmosphere in mutual relations while lacking substance, according unspecified diplomatic sources qouted by daily Gazeta Wyborcza.
The two politicians talked the EU common market as well as bilateral cooperation in the sphere of defense, cyber-security and combating hybrid threats, while differing in their statements on Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project.
Germany supports the European Commission in its work, Merkel also declared indirectly commenting on the launch of Article 7 procedure against Poland by Brussels.
