Pensioners still working
February 27, 2018
Article's tools:

Poland saw the number of working pensioners receiving pensions surge by 93.500 in 2017 vs. a 20,000 hike recorded in the previous year, with 54,000 more Poles in retirement age continuing to work without collecting their pension cheques.
The two groups together constituted 85% of those who were still working when applying for a pension last year. The data shows that Poland failed to encourage people to leave the labor market by lowering retirement age, according to Credit Agricole Bank Polska chief economist Jakub Borowski.
