Posting of workers issue

The Polish government will be hard pressed to prevent the planned revision of the EU Posting of Workers Directive, the daily Rzeczpospolita writes.
Plans for force remuneration at minimum rates of pay of the host state plus bonuses or allowances and apply host state collective labor agreements for all posted workers are contested by Poland the most. The Polish government might yet have its say on drivers, whose status is to be determined under a separate directive, Rzeczpospolita observes.
Warsaw may count on Spain or Portugal's support in the matter, as they also object the European Commission's proposal that drivers are regarded as posted workers if they spend at least 3 days in a given calendar month on the territory of a host country.
