Sunday trade ban will affect online purchases
March 6, 2018
Article's tools:

Polish clients may spend an extra PLN 300 million on online purchases this year as a result of the introduction of retail trade ban on select Sundays, according to calculations of QuarticON, provider of services for e-commerce businesses.
So far, Sundays accounted for around 13% of e-commerce segment sales. The influence of the ban will vary depending on the industry; e.g. online fashion retailers expect only a mild boost.
Among major FMCG retailers, Tesco will not make deliveries on Sundays, but Auchan as well as Piotr i Pawel plan to continue e-commerce deliveries on Sundays.
