Poland's governing party Law and Justice (PiS) suffered a 4-pps decline in its voter support in March to 39% from the record levels of prior months, while its closest rival, opposition party Civic Platform (PO), rose by 3 pps month to month to 23%, reducing the distance to the leader to some 16 pps, a survey by pollster IBRiS for the daily Rzeczpospolita showed.

The liberal opposition grouping Nowoczesna stayed at 5%, the level required for parliamentary representation, to which it had slid during the negative trend of the past few months.

Leftist SLD, which remains outside of the parliament, enjoyed a 3-pps increase to 10%.

Backing for the eclectic anti-establishment Kukiz'15 grouping edged up by 1 ppt to 7%, while agrarian party PSL lost 1 ppt to 5%.

The survey was conducted on March 1-2.
