Polish unemployment in February seen edging down

Labor minister El¿bieta Rafalska
Polish registered unemployment rate edged down by 0.1 ppt month on month in February to 6.8% and is expected to decline further in the coming months, Labor Minister Elzbieta Rafalska told PAP.
The jobless count decreased by 5900 in February to 1.128 million, the ministry said on its website.
"Each following month should at least maintain this decline of unemployment or [the decline] will even be bigger," Rafalska said.
Analysts surveyed by PAP expected the unemployment rate to stay at 6.9% at the end of February.
