Construction Journal magazine has granted awards to the best designers and companies active in the Polish real estate market in 2002.

The awards were presented in seven categories. Dom Dochodowy o Trzech Frontach on Trzech Krzyży Square was chosen as best office building in Warsaw. Platan Group is the investor responsible for the restoration and expansion of this historical facility. The best shopping center project, according to the judges, was the Galeria Mokotów center's expansion handled by GTC-Rodamco; the best residential building was Cztery Pory Roku (Four Seasons) in Cracow (Echo Investment); ProLogis Park Piotrków Trybunalski was named the best warehouse/logistic facility. The award for the best building went to the Grand Hotel Lublinianka (Von der Heyden Group); Sven von der Heyden was voted the person of the year in the real estate community; and the award for the best real estate agency went to Colliers International.

Nominations for the awards were reviewed by a panel of judges composed of specialists from companies active in the Polish real estate market.

The competition was organized by Roberts Publishing, the publisher of Construction Journal, a magazine dedicated to construction investment and projects in the Central European real estate market.
