Polish investment funds enjoyed nearly PLN 1.6 billion net inflows in February, below the January record level of PLN 2.4 billion, with the positive result driven by retail funds inflows, researcher Analizy Online reported.
Retail funds attracted over PLN 2 billion in net inflows in February, the highest monthly balance since January 2008.
Equity funds suffered PLN 720 million net outflows, after positive flows of January, in the context of losses on equity markets. That was the biggest outflow since the Brexit-related markets shake-up in June 2016, the researcher noted. Of that total amount, domestic equity funds suffered PLN 520 million net outflows.
Debt funds enjoyed PLN 470 million net inflows, marking the 13th consecutive months of positive flows.
