Crisis management in the government?

The prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki's yesterday decision to accept resignation from 17 deputy ministers (see Monday Poland's Voice news) seems to be crisis management after the news had broken out about high bonuses paid to members of the previous government, political scientist Antoni Dudek commented on Tuesday in Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. The Morawiecki government has been from the onset burdened by the fact that it sported the highest ever number of deputy ministers, Dudek added.
According to anonymous parliament member from the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, cited by Gazeta Wyborcza, the reshuffle won't "influence the government assessment or shake the party" due to the fact that Morawiecki dismissed deputy ministers without strong political support.
