Industrial output grow in February

The industrial output in Poland increased in February by 7.4% year on year vs. 7.9% year on year increase expected according to a PAP consensus survey, and was down by 2.2% from the prior month, the Polish stats office GUS announced. Analysts surveyed by PAP had expected a monthly decrease of 1.4%.
Polish seasonally adjusted industrial output in February was up by 7.3% year on year and up by 1.3% month on month after a 6.2% year on year increase and 0.8% month on month decline in January.
Poland's construction output jumped by 31.4% year on year versus 27.2% increase expected and after a 34.7% year on year growth in January. Month on month, construction output increased by 3.3% versus 1.8% growth expected.
