Listed metals state controlled giant player KGHM is suffering a wave of personnel moves throughout its structure following a recent management reshuffling, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily said. Three mines and the rescue unit have all lost their leadership in the course of a week. Three other units are likely to see management changes soon. The supervisory board has planned the fastest possible tender process for a new CEO allowable by law to be completed before the suspended general meeting resumes. However the governing party Law and Jusctice (PiS) hasn't yet settled the matter as the post is considered a tool in local elections. Party insider Adam Lapinski, PM Mateusz Morawiecki or Minister of Education Anna Zalewska could all have a preferred candidate. Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski appears to have lost the battle as his current protege on the management board wasn't named acting CEO. Candidates include: Rafal Pawelczak, Milosz Stanislawski and the current president of the ARP industrial policy agency Marcin Chludzinski.
