The Polish government might fail to provide the EU-required notification of its planned bill on cogeneration support before the end of 2018, when the current support scheme expires, head of the heat engineering lobby IGCP Jacek Szymczak tells the daily Puls Biznesu, while praising the government-proposed draft legislation fostering high efficiency cogeneration units.
At the same time, the draft fails to provide information on the budget to be earmarked for the support mechanism, as well as distribution of funds among various types of heating plants, Szymczak adds.
