Polish state-owned companies are suffering from reported clashes within the ruling party Law and Justice (PiS), translating into constant changes on top managerial positions, the dailies Parkiet and Rzeczpospolita write citing corporate governance expert Andrzej S. Nartowski and pointing to such companies as KGHM copper, fuel giants Orlen and Lotos, Energa power utility or WSE operator GPW.
State enterprises have seen some 67,700 managers sacked after PiS came to power in late 2015, Rzeczpospolita specifies, quoting data from non-governmental think tank FOR.
