Lukasz Szumowski
The Polish government will make specialist medical consultations more available to patients, improve the functioning of hospital emergency departments and expand the list of medication provided free of charge, health minister Lukasz Szumowski told the newspaper Polska The Times.
The government also wants to admit more students to medical faculties in order to patch up the country's pressing shortage of physicians, the minister added.
