The Polish government may introduce new tax regulations in 2020 at the earliest, the daily Rzeczpospolita writes, citing information gathered from the ministry of finance.
The new tax regime might deprive some self-employed of tax preferences and low ZUS premiums, tax expert at Crido Taxand Pawel Tonski warns. Some of Poland's small companies may become subject to double taxation, he adds, pointing to limited liability companies that are likely to pay CIT tax on their earnings and PIT tax on profits transferred to shareholders.
The government may just as well decide to liquidate double taxation, Przemyslaw Pruszynski from employers lobby Konfederacja Lewiatan reassures.
