Rehabilitation benefit issue

Nearly 80% of Poles are in favor of introducing a PLN 500 rehabilitation benefit for the disabled, while 15% are against it, show the results of a survey conducted by pollster Ibris for the daily Rzeczpospolita.
However, only 52% of respondents would still support the benefit introduction if it affected the introduction of the back-to-school bonus. Poland's ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) is likely procrastinating at the moment, waiting for the media interest in the disabled protests to wane as it probably expects to reach a compromise with the protesters more easily at that time, political scientist Rafal Chwedoruk comments for the paper.
